Greetings to all - I'm not sure exactly how you will be arriving here, but welcome.
In concept this blog will attempt to illustrate the differences between imagination and 'true to life' fact. The bible as we know it is obviously an incorrect or incomplete example of what 'actually' happened. The characters (to me) seem surreal, the events hardly believeable and the explainations completely fantastical. With that in mind I will rewrite the bible attempting to inject 'realism' into the fantasy.
First - If you are offended by quasi-religious sarcastic humor I'd recommend reading the complete blog. That way your hate mail will have more specific examples to rail at me about.
Second - This blog is an outlet for my own creativity, and while I will be following a well known outline and storyline I will endeavor to sufficiently modify my content to keep it new and fresh and 'modern' as the title says.

I don't have a set schedule for publishing new material. I suppose it will be done as the creative mood strikes. I will be working one chapter at a time, attempting to enhance my own understanding of the overall picture before beginning with the necessary modifications. I will of course be starting with Genesis I - which I hope will better demonstrate how this blog will go.
